UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST MINISTER &
CONSULTANT IN RESTORATIVE PRACTICES IN CONGREGATIONS AND COMMUNITIES
My ministry has spanned almost 25 years and crisscrossed the American landscape. I have served congregations in New England, New York, California, Arizona and North Carolina. The bulk of my ministry has been serving small congregations many, though not all, with some form of conflict. I have served two settled ministries and enjoy the work of interim, developmental and contract ministry as these are more suited to skills.
I also have a great deal of experience and skill in working with restorative practices. These are relational practices, designed to help improve communication, and to build trust within communities. I hold a Master’s degree in Restorative Practices from the International Institute for Restorative Practices. Other restorative techniques and practices I bring to my ministry include, but are not limited to; Kay Praniss’ peace making circles at Suffolk University, Parker Palmer’s Circles of trust, Quaker Clearance Committees, and traditional mediation.
